Random update

 *dusts off cobwebs in journal* 

Sooooooo... It's been a long time since I last updated this. Been too busy writing and knitting, I think... 

Projects I have finished since I last updated: 

• The Through The Looking Glass knitalong shawl is done and dusted and blocked and being worn more often than I thought it would. I love how it looks and how it feels (it's silk), and the beads add just the right kind of sparkle to it. All i all, love it. Would love to knit the pattern again, in an entirely unrelated colourway and yarn... 
• First prototype of a new super-secret design was knitted, in sock yarn. Now I'm knitting the lace version, so I can complete the pattern. It's going to take a while... 

Projects I am working on now...

• Said lace version of said super-secret desing is still on the needles...
• The latest Unique Sheep knitalong, The Little Mermaid, is currently on clue 4. It's been... interesting, knitting squares in the round LOL 
• The Christmas Socks I was knitting in November? Yeah, they are still on the needles... 

Projects I want to start soon

• Reversible half-finger mittens. *headdesks* I love mittens, and my pair of long lace-up one are looking a bit sorry for themselves after a year of almost continuous wear, so I want to knit a replacement pair. *Without* the lace-up (the ribbon I used is driving me mad, and no, I don't think any other kind of ribbon would drive me any less mad). And somehow I came up with this stupid idea of making them reversible, so they can be worn with more things. Only problem is, how on Earth does one knit teensy weensy fingers in double knitting? 
• Crochet skirt. This is going to take a while, because i need to buy yarn for it, and I currently do have more yarn in the house than is healthy to have. And goodness knows how many more sock/lace clubs coming in the next few months... 
• I need to find an interesting bolero-style cardigan to knit. For those spring days when a coat is too much and sleeves are not enough...
